Timothy Kamuzu Phiri is an environmental educator based in Lusaka, Zambia. He is the co-founder and Executive Director of Mizu Eco-Care, an environmental conservation NGO.

Timothy started his working career as a secondary school teacher of biology and geography at St. Canisius Secondary School in Monze, Zambia, before moving on to lecture Ecology for Environmental Education at the University of Zambia for 8 years.

He is an environmental activist and story teller. He advocates for farmers’ rights, climate justice and social justice for local communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is also a passionate defender of non-consummative wildlife conservation/tourism.
